Dana Delany is urging Americans to donate to food banks in their local communities as part of an ongoing campaign to end child hunger in the U.S.
The Desperate Housewives actress hosted a star-studded rally for U.S. charity Child Hunger Ends Here earlier this month (Apr10) in a bid to raise awareness about the issue.
And she is determined to get Americans more involved in their local communities, and ease the stigma facing families struggling to feed their children.
She says, "One in every four children in America doesn't know where their next meal is coming from. This figure is embarrassing so people don't want to admit they can't feed their own families. So go on and donate to a food bank in your own community."
