Rap mogul Damon Dash has expanded on his empire by branching out into consumer electronics.
Dash, who's a co-founder of the Roc-A-Fella Records, has ARMADALE VODKA, the ROCAWEAR fashion line and AMERICA magazine under his belt. And now his new ROC DIGITAL company will unveil ROCBOX portable audio players next month (NOV04).
He says, "I'm an entrepreneur by nature. I saw the opportunity and thought it would be a fun and innovative way to sell music."
The Rocbox boasts sleek, fingerprint-resistant chrome casing and exclusive tracks from Roc-A-Fella artists.
Dash adds, "There will be special editions customised for RocA-Fella artists - and any other artists that are interested, for that matter. We'll be making more announcements regarding content in November."10/10/2004 10:18
