Damon Albarn is already planning his first post-Gorillaz project - a supergroup made of ageing rock veterans. Albarn - who this week revealed the animated group's most recent album DEMON DAYS will be its last - has already finished the un-named group's first LP. He reveals, "I've just finished making another record. I've been working with PAUL SIMONON from The Clash and TONY ALLEN from FELA KUTI's band, and the guitarist SIMON TONG, who was in The Verve and now plays in Gorillaz. "The average age of this new band is something like 56. But when you hear the record you won't be able to tell that it's made by old guys."
