The Strummer of Love festival organisers have now released the day tickets for this special event commemorating 10 years since the passing of legendary punk singer Joe Strummer.
Standard weekend tickets for this family friendly event at Blackdown Hills in Somerset from August 17th - 19th have been priced at £175 and £101 for concessions. Now available to purchase are single day tickets at £50 for adults, £35 for teens and free for children under 12 years.
Strummer of Love is a special one-off event to celebrate the life and musical contributions of 'The Clash' frontman. All money raised at the festival through ticket sales and from other events will be donated to the charity Strummerville: The Joe Strummer Foundation for New Music. Fundraisers at the festival include a Damien Hirst raffle; the modern concept artist and former punk will unveil two new art pieces for it and raffle tickets are priced at £20.
Event organisers have also announced the full line-up set to perform which is split into the impressive main line-up and the lesser known but equally as thrilling Strummerville campfire stage line-up. On the diverse main stage are various folk punk legends such as The Pogues, Billy Bragg and Frank Turner as well as indie artists like Badly Drawn Boy and Emmy The Great, Roots Manuva, blues singer Seasick Steve, electronic duo Basement Jaxx and popster KT TUNSTALL.
