Veteran singer Richard Marx helped to wrestle and restrain a "crazy" passenger on Tuesday (20Dec16) while on a flight in South East Asia.
The Right Here Waiting star and his wife, model Daisy Fuentes, were on board a Korean Air plane from Vietnam to South Korea when the man began acting up.
Daisy documented the incident in a series of snaps on social media, revealing airline staff struggled to handle the situation, prompting Richard to step in and help.
"A guy sitting in the next row from us got crazy & started attacking the flight attendants & passengers," she wrote beside a snap on Instagram. "When he started pushing the female staff and pulling them by the hair, @therichardmarx was the first to help subdue him."
"This went on for FOUR hrs (sic)," she added next to another photo. "I feel horrible for the abuse the staff had to endure, but no one was prepared for this. They never fully got control of him. They didn't know how to use the taser & they didn't know how to secure the rope around him. (He got loose from their rope restraints 3 times.)"
Two passengers and one crew member were injured in the scuffle, and the man was arrested by police upon landing in Seoul.
Marx also addressed the drama in his own posts on Twitter, adding, "You will be hearing about our flight#480 on @KoreanAir_KE . Passenger next to us attacked passengers and crew. Crew completely ill trained.
"We have video of entire chaotic and dangerous event on @KoreanAir_KE 480. Lasted 4 hours. Crew completely ill-equipped to handle situation."
