The electronic duo - made up of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter - may join the star-studded line-up at the awards show, according to TV host Stephen Colbert, who claims the band cancelled their performance on his show due to a conflict with MTV.
The 'Get Lucky' hitmakers were set to give a rare TV performance on Comedy Central's 'The Colbert Report' last night (06.08.13), but pulled out of the appearance as MTV wants them to perform exclusively at the VMAs in New York City on August 25.
