LATEST: Former Culture Club frontman Boy George has officially cancelled his forthcoming U.S. tour after he was refused permission to enter the country.
The British singer - real name George O'Dowd - had a visa application turned down because of his 2006 conviction for lying about a burglary at his New York apartment.
The star had scheduled a series of solo shows which would have taken him across the U.S. this summer (08), but now all of the gigs have been scrapped as his management have failed to rectify the visa situation.
O'Dowd was due to kick off the tour in Aspen, Colorado on 10 July (08), wrapping the roadshow with a final gig in Dallas, Texas on 23 August (08).
