Courtney Love is turning her back on her legal woes and planning to hit the road next month (JUN04).

The rocker, who was in court in Los Angeles yesterday (25MAY04) for jury selection in her drug possession and disorderly conduct case, will head off on tour on 18 June in Connecticut.

An unlucky 13 dates have been confirmed, wrapping up with a performance at Los Angeles' famous punk venue the Palladium on 23 July (04).

The tour is an ambitious venture, considering Love faces unresolved legal battles in Los Angeles and New York.

She is set to appear in court in Beverly Hills on 4 June (04) to answer felony drug charges filed against her after paramedics responded to a call to her home for an apparent overdose of painkillers the same night as she broke into her ex-boyfriend JIM BARBER's home.

And then, on 28 June (04), Love is due in Manhattan criminal court to face charges of third-degree-assault and second-degree reckless endangerment, after she allegedly hurled a microphone stand at a fan during a show in New York.

Love hopes to boost sales of her new album AMERICA'S SWEETHEART on the tour. Released in February, the CD has been a commercial disappointment, selling just 86,000 copies in America.
