Courteney Cox is preparing to make her feature directorial debut in a new film starring Seann William Scott.

The Friends star will helm the movie Hello, I Must Be Going, in which the American Pie actor plays a depressed man who heads back to his hometown to right some wrongs before committing suicide.

Kate Walsh will co-star as his sister-in-law in the movie.

The project, which is slated to start filming in Los Angeles later this month (Jun13), will be Cox's first feature; the actress previously directed episodes of her sitcom Cougar Town and the 2012 Lifetime Tv movie Talhotblond. She also wrote and directed 2008 short film The Monday Before Thanksgiving.
