Thomas, who is also a musician recording under the name Bashy, will be a leading character opposite Corey, who is currently starring in The Walking Dead, according to a report on Deadline.com.

The 31-year-old actor from north west London attended the BRIT School for performing Arts where he was a theatre student. The school boasts former students such as Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis, Adele and Jessie J.

He started his film career on independent movie Skank, before being cast in Noel Clarke's 4.3.2.1.

Thomas appears on ITV’s Beowulf: Return To The Shieldlands and recurred as Calvin Hart on BBC show Criminal Justice.

He has also enjoyed success as a musician, releasing several mixtapes, and recently acted as assistant music supervisor on Clarke's final film in the 'hood trilogy, Adulthood.

The Fox pilot plans to reboot the 24 franchise with new characters, but it will be written by 24 veterans Manny Coto and Evan Katz and directed by Stephen Hopkins (the showrunner for the original 24 pilot).

24: Legacy will centre on military hero Eric Carter (Hawkins) and his return to the U.S. But trouble follows him back forcing him to ask the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) for help in saving his life, and to stop a potentially devastating terror attack on American soil.

Thomas will play Isaac Carter, Eric’s older brother. Isaac is angry at Eric regarding their bitter past (which includes Eric now married to Isaac’s former girlfriend, Nicole, played by Anna Diop).

The cast also includes Homeland star Miranda Otto, Teddy Sears, Dan Bucatinsky and Jimmy Smits.
