Hollywood star Corey Feldman is seeking funding to turn his New York Times best-selling autobiography, 'Coreyography', into a movie.
Corey Feldman is launching the second phase of his crowd-funding campaign to make a film about alleged sexual abuse in Hollywood.
The 46-year-old actor has turned to Indiegogo to raise the funds to turn his New York Times best-selling autobiography, 'Coreyography', into a movie, which he's promised will expose pedophilia within the American movie business.
The 'Stand by Me' star - who has persistently claimed to have been the victim of sexual abuse during his teens - has already raised $273,000 for the project, with the money being used to finance a writer and shoot a draft of the script.
Corey hopes that the second tranche of money will be used to finish the film's script, and to determine the production schedule and budget.
Of his crowdfunding campaign, Corey wrote on Twitter: ''U KNOW THAT THIS CAMPAIGN, THIS FILM, & THIS CAUSE IS OF THE GREATEST SIGNIFICANCE & I AM FILLING A TALL ORDER IN TAKING IT ALL ON. MANY OF U HAV PUT YOUR FAITH IN ME, & INVESTED YOUR HARD EARNED TIME & $ INTO HELPING THIS CAUSE! I WILL NEVER LET U DOWN! (sic)''
But Corey also alleged that his attempts to expose sex abuse in Hollywood are being undermined an organised ''cell''.
He explained: ''I WILL TEVEAL HOW I HAV LEARNED THAT IN FACT THERE R NOT MULTIPLE PARTIES ATTACKING ME, BUT RATHER 1 VERY WELL ORGANIZED CELL, WHICH HAS BEEN WORKING TOGETHER, RECRUITING NEE MEMBERS WITH LIES & BRAINWASHING TRICKS, & HAV A VERY SINISTER PLAN 2 FRAME ME! THEY WILL NOT SUCCEED! (sic)''
The former child star then asked his Twitter followers to lend their support to his campaign.
He wrote: ''I WONT GIV UP, OR BACK DOWN, UNTIL ALL OF THE TRUTH HAS BEEN REVEALED! GOD BLESS US ALL! AND SPREAD THE WORD 2 PROTECT OURSELVES FROM STRANGERS W MISINFORMATION! IF IT SOUNDS WRONG, TRUST YOUR HEARTS! AND PLEASE CONTINUE 2 DONATE: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/corey-feldman-s-truth-campaign-part-2-the-sequel ... #PRESERVEINNOCENCE (sic)''
