Coldplay, the Jonas Brothers, Adele and Jennifer Hudson were among the stars paying tribute to Neil Diamond at the MusiCares Person of The Year gala on Saturday night (07Feb09).The stars braved the stormy conditions in Los Angeles to honour the crooner at the Grammy Awards-eve party.
The Jonas Brothers performed a sketchy rendition of Diamond's Forever in Blue Jeans, Hudson wowed with her cover of Holy Holy, Adele sang Cracklin' Rosie and Coldplay took on The Monkees I'm A Believer, which Diamond wrote.
Meanwhile, Tim MCGraw performed Hello Again and Josh Groban sang Play Me.
But the highlight of the night came when Diamond himself took the stage to perform his Barbra Streisand duet You Don't Bring Me Flowers with MCGraw's wife, country star Faith Hill.
The 2009 MusiCares Person of The Year recipient also performed America and Sweet Caroline at the star-studded gala.
