Coca Rocha has criticised celebrities who ''borrow couture'' and reckons they don't deserve to be on the best dressed lists.
Coca Rocha has slammed celebrity style icons who ''borrow couture.''
The Canadian supermodel, who cites Elizabeth Taylor as the ultimate style icon, believes it's too easy for young stars who are styled by professionals for red carpet events to top the best dressed lists.
Asked about her ultimate style icon, she told Marie Claire magazine: ''Elizabeth Taylor. She was the world's most glamorous woman in the days before celebrity stylists - now a 20 year old borrows couture and is crowned an icon.''
Although Coco is dubious about some A-list actresses' style credentials, she is obsessed with Zooey Deschanel, who always wears cute and quirky outfits.
She continued: ''[I love] Zooey Deschanel. I absolutely love 'New Girl.' It's getting a little creepy how much I talk about it.''
The glamorous model is famed for her own quirky look and revealed she is a big fan of designer Dennis Basso's designs.
She said: ''I always feel beautiful in his creations. When we're shooting, he'll move around and pose, too. He's such a character.''
To create the perfect look, Coca always adds a slick of Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte dashing red lipstick, but warned it must be applied carefully.
She added: ''This dramatic red lipstick spreads like butter, but if you're not careful you can end up looking like a crazy person.''
The novel's author saw a cut of the film and loved each of the changes the movie's director had made.
