CNN said on Tuesday that it is sending a virtual army of reporters and crew members to the Republican and Democratic conventions this month who will "offer viewers nonstop, unbiased programming across on-air and digital platforms." Suggesting that Fox News's coverage will skew to the right and MSNBC's, to the left, Sam Feist, CNN Washington bureau chief and senior VP, said in a statement, "As the only cable news channel that has not picked sides in this election, CNN has a unique lens with which to cover these conventions." The question naturally arises whether viewers really want unbiased convention coverage or whether they will tune in to the channel that best reflects their own partisan leanings.
