Clint Eastwood's affair with celebrated restaurant critic GAEL GREENE is set to be exposed in the writer's new memoirs, INSATIABLE.

The DIRTY HARRY star is one of many celebrities named and shamed in the autobiography, in which the New York Magazine critic reveals the truth about her past sexual conquests.

But it's her tryst with Eastwood, who she met on the set of TWO MULES FOR SISTER SARAH in 1970 - when she was sent to interview the actor - that remains one of her big boasts.

Greene claims Eastwood bedded her in his Mexican cottage suite near the set of the film after wooing her over a romantic dinner.

In the book, the writer recalls Eastwood's clean smell and his muscular body.

And she reveals their romance was more than just a one-night stand - Eastwood visited her a few months later when she was staying in Los Angeles' Beverly Wilshire Hotel, while she was on assignment.

Greene recalls melting into "a puddle of Jell-O" when the hunky movie star appeared at her door, and they enjoyed another passionate evening.

She writes, "It was wonderful sex in an era of wonderful sexual possibilities."

Greene also boasts of flings with Burt Reynolds and Elvis Presley in her revealing memoirs.
