Evergreen pop star SIR Cliff Richard has had a street named after him in Portugal.

The MISTLETOE AND WINE hitmaker bought a home in the small fishing town of Albufeira in the 1960s - and it has now become one of Europe's top holiday destinations.

The town's mayor DESIDERIO SILVA congratulated Cliff for "promoting tourism to the area on the British market".

The LIVING DOLL singer now owns a vineyard in the Portuguese mountains and produces red wine.
