Veteran singer SIR Cliff Richard has followed Madonna into London's newly-launched Square of Fame. The bronze accolade, unveiled by the pop star yesterday (09NOV06), features his handprints on a pavement plaque in an area ultimately tipped to rival Hollywood's legendary Walk of Fame. Over the coming years, Madonna and Richard will be joined by a host of global stars who will also leave their mark on the Wembley development. Richard's unveiling coincides with the end of a five day run at the Wembley Arena with his Here And Now tour. The 66-year-old says, "Bus pass, pipe and slippers? Don't you believe it. The buzz I get from performing to a live audience is just as real and exciting as ever it was - and hopefully I've a few years left in me yet! "These concerts around the UK and Ireland are the first arena tour I've done for years and it's fantastic to think I'll be playing in all to nearly 200,000 people."
