The costumes late stars Christopher Reeve and Marlon Brando wore in Superman: The Movie are to be auctioned off in Los Angeles this summer (Jul12).
Reeve's Superman outfit, complete with the comic book superhero's trademark 'S', yellow belt, red cape and leather boots and Brando's Jor-El tunic, sleeveless full-length robe, pants and boots are expected to fetch up to $80,000 (£50,000) each when they go under the hammer at auction house Profiles in History on 20 July (12).
These items are a part of the fabled Dreier Collection, which is so vast that its sale has been ongoing for years.
The auction also features highlights including the screen-used Kryptonite crystal and box from Superman Iii.
