Chrissy Teigen has defended reality star Kristin Cavallari after she was blasted online over her parenting.
The former The Hills star posted a picture on Instagram last week (ends10Jul16) showing her husband Jay Cutler and two of her children, Camden, three, and Jaxon, two, stood in the shallows of the ocean and many users accused her of underfeeding her kids because they seemed too skinny.
Chrissy, who has also received online criticism over her parenting of daughter Luna, could identify with Kristin's ordeal and she publicly told her to ignore the comments on Twitter.
E! News published a think piece in which a reporter wrote Kristin's shamers should be ashamed of themselves, and Chrissy replied to the E! Twitter account, writing, "I will never know why parents criticize others so harshly, knowing they'd go insane if they were on the receiving end ALLTHETIME (sic).
"NO parent out there thinks they're perfect. I loathe these sh**head commenters. Who would want to make someone feel horrible for fun?... anyway, love you @KristinCav and screw everyone's bored a*s!"
Kristin, who gave birth to a third child, daughter Saylor, in November (15), sarcastically responded to the Instagram comments, by writing, "Yep. I starve my children... Just blocked the most people I've ever blocked in my entire life."
Chrissy, who gave birth to her first child Luna in April (16) is no stranger to criticism as she came under fire for going on a date night with husband John Legend without Luna just weeks after she was born.
The model told U.S. show Good Morning America at the time that she was shocked by the backlash, saying, "We needed to go enjoy each other's company and be out, and I used to read mum blogs like crazy, so I knew mum-shaming was a thing, but I didn't think that it would come from going to dinner; that isn't something that I thought would happen."
John also asked for shamers to attack him as well rather than just Chrissy receiving the brunt of the criticism.
