Christina Ricci credits her starring role in movie BLACK SNAKE MOAN for turning her life around - because she now knows how to truly value her acting talents. And the star, 27, wanted the part of traumatised nymphomaniac Rae in Black Snake Moan so badly, she had to convince film makers to even grant her an audition. She says, "I think it made me value myself in a way that I didn't before. "I realised how good I was. I know how arrogant that's going to sound. But now I won't devalue what I can do by doing junk. "It's sort of like dating. You don't want to give up too much, too cheaply!"
