Timed nicely to coincide with her appearance on the new series of The Voice, Christina Aguilera's releasing her latest single 'Your Body.' The single, which is taken from her forthcoming, as-yet-untitled album - due for release in November 2012 - is a powerful electro-rock number, which contains the line "I think you already know my name." We sure do, but we reckon we'll be hearing a lot more of it, especially in the chart countdowns, if this track's anything to go by.

Aguilera caused a stir when she posted a link to the artwork for the single, which features the 31 year-old wrapped in pink material, which just about covers her modesty, thanks to a few strategic folds and the expert placing of her long blonde hair. The new track sounds as though it's going to be a real dance-floor filler and it's a perfect vehicle for Christina's impressive set of pipes. It feels like along time since she's been in the charts, so it's a welcome return for the saucy pop star. In fact, it'll be a good thing to hear people discussing her music again, instead of listening to the usual debate about the Christina Aguilera weight debacle!

In a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest, Christina explained that she's been through a lot since she released her last album Bionic in 2010. "This album is about self-expression and freedom," she told the radio host. "There is a lot I have gone through personally over the past few years, and this record represents a rebirth for me. The record is about freedom and getting back to the root of who I am and what I love to do."
