Christina Aguilera is readying herself for another comeback after the largely-considered flop of 2010 Lp Bionic. You can tell she's viewing it as a comeback, despite only two years having passed since that album, as she's described her new one - still untitled - to Billboard as a "rebirth". Talking to the publication, she said album will reflect "everything I've experienced up until this point... I've been through a lot since the release of my last album, being on ['The Voice'], having had a divorce. This is all sort of a free rebirth for me."
It's been an interesting time of it for Aguilera since the last album came out, as the star pointed out she's been appearing as a voice coach on hit reality singing TV show 'The Voice' as well as splitting up with Jordan Bratman, father of her son Max. "I'm embracing many different things, but it's all feel-good," she continued. "In the fashion that I always like to put forth, it's very self-expressive and it's all heartfelt."
Indeed, The Voice, like American Idol was for Jennifer Lopez, has been something of a pick-me-up for the pop star, and it has to be said that the anticipation regarding the album is as high as its ever been for an Aguilera release.
