Christina Aguilera and the EAGLES have landed their own online radio networks as part of a new deal with broadcasting giants Clear Channel.
The stars' channels will run 24 hours a day and feature tunes picked by the artists as well as interviews, according to Billboard.com.
The new concept will launch next month (Jul09) and will also feature a channel dedicated to all things Weezer.
Clear Channel President Evan Harrison says, "It's really a different approach, and we wanted to give the artist the foundation and infrastructure to let them do their thing."
The network bosses recently recorded three hours worth of chat with Aguilera, who talked candidly about motherhood and fashion, as well as her musical loves and hates for her first broadcasts.
The Beautiful singer's initial playlist features songs by Santigold, Black Sabbath and Etta James.
She says, "Fans always write to ask me what I like and listen to, which makes this such a great opportunity for me to share my musical inspirations with them.
"My channel is going to be a special place for my fans to find out about my new music, upcoming tours and lots of other news and original content. It's going to be fun."
Each online channel will feature a rotating 1,000 songs, plus stories and comments from the hosts. The channels will be updated weekly with new music and content.
