Singer Chris Martin is adopting a new approach to tackling the photographers who hound him and actress wife GWYNETH PALTROW - he's reporting them to the police.
The Coldplay frontman has clashed with paparazzi on a number of occasions - Martin was charged with malicious damage last year (03) for attacking a photographer after being snapped on an Australian beach.
But the rocker appears to have found a more sensible tactic.
A source reveals, "Chris went to Belgravia CID at the end of last week to complain about this black cab driver who has been selling photos to the tabloids over the past year.
"Early this week, Chris was interviewed by officers investigating the offence and was assured the case was being actively pursued.
"Chris is known to be particularly protective of Gwyneth, especially since the birth of their daughter, Apple, and refuses to put up with harassment of this kind."12/11/2004 13:55
