The CLOCKS star - who was accused of punching a snapper and scratching another's car recently - became annoyed as he left the bash at the adjoining houses of artists Sam Taylor-Wood and AGENT PROVOCATEUR lingerie boss SERENA REES in London's posh Regent's Park district on Friday night (16JAN04).
An insider says, "He turned to photographers and challenged them. He said, 'Come on, let's see if you fat boys can keep up with me.' Then he legged it down the street.
"A bouncer from the party decided to help Chris out. He tried to get between Chris and the snappers and it turned into a scuffle.
"Chris finally caught up with Gwyn's car, and was mobbed as he opened the door. He was lashing out to stop people taking his photographer."
