'Think Like A Man' remained at the top of the US Box Office charts this weekend, though its victory may be fleeting given the huge hype surrounding the release of 'The Avengers' this week.

BBC News reports that the Chris Brown-starring flick, based on Steve Harvey's dating advice book took $18 million at the box office over the weekend, beating out the Hugh Grant-starring animation 'The Pirates! Band Of Misfits' which took a total of $11.7 million - this week wasn't a groundbreaking one for figures - and 'The Lucky One,' starring a beefed-up Zac Efron, which took $11.3 million to come in third.

There was a familiar title clinging on in the top five, as 'The Hunger Games' took $11.25 million to stay at number four. 'The Five-Year Engagement' meanwhile was fifth with takings of $11.2 million. Starring Robert Downey Jr in his role as Iron Man and a host of other Marvel comic actors including Captain America and The Incredible Hulk, 'The Avengers' is set to be released to huge fan fare this week - although it will have to go some to trouble 'The Hunger Games' phenomenal success this year; as a result though takings were generally down this weekend, with people's priorities at the weekend generally elsewhere.
