Troubled R&B star Chris Brown is preparing to get his joint tour with Trey Songz back on track after completing his community service sentence.

The Kiss Kiss hitmaker had to postpone the start of the Between The Sheets trek last month (Jan15) after a Los Angeles judge refused to sign off on a travel permit needed for the North American shows because he had yet to complete the final 100 hours of his community service by his January (15) deadline.

He had been ordered to log a total of 1,000 hours after violating his probation stemming from his 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown's probation was also revoked after it was determined that he had recently broken court orders by leaving Los Angeles County to play a gig in San Jose, California - a move which could still land him back behind bars if he is found to have wilfully violated the terms of his freedom.

However, Brown is now ready to get back onstage after meeting his legal obligations.

Taking to on Friday night (06Feb15), he wrote, "Finished all my community service... Bts Tour..... Here we come."

The Behind The Sheets tour was initially scheduled to kick off in Brown's home state of Virginia on 27 January (15), with the trek continuing until March (15). A new start date has yet to be announced.

Brown was back in the headlines on Saturday (07Feb15) when police conducted a search of his car after receiving an anonymous tip alleging one of his passengers was carrying a weapon. No firearms were found in the singer's Lamborghini, which had been parked outside Sayer nightclub in Los Angeles while the star attended a pre-Grammy Awards party held by rapper T.I.
