Brown's Jibe At Record Bosses After Grammys Snub - Comments and Message Board

I read the original quote and I didn’t take it like Chris was mad because he didn’t get a Grammy. As a result of his life experiences he has learned some valuable lessons 1) the music industry like many other industries are full of politics and butt kissing. He’s mature enough to accept the good with the bad. What he likes about the music business is being able to share his gifts with his fans and the many others that support him, and the hell with the rest. Before I retired, I seen so many people get over looked for promotions as a result of politics. My advice to Chris is “Keep your friends and enemies close, but God closer.
