Chloe Moretz is keen to reprise the role of Hit Girl from 'Kick-Ass'.

The 13-year-old actress - who caused controversy on the film's release because of the extreme violence and swearing her character undertakes - admits she would love to work on 'Kick-Ass 2' but is not yet sure if it is definitely happening.

She said: "Yeah, I'd totally love to be Hit Girl again, but I don't know about 'Kick-Ass 2'. Everyone's like, 'It's just been announced!' but I'm like, 'No, it hasn't. That's all rumour.' I honestly don't even know anymore. I don't know anything about a second one.

"All I know is that there's a second comic called 'Balls to the Wall'. Hopefully, that will happen."

The British star also revealed she is currently shooting Martin Scorsese's 3-D epic 'Hugo Cabret', and is enjoying working with the legendary filmmaker.

She told "Marty is absolutely an amazing director. The film is really cool because we're shooting it in 3D, and that's very exciting. My character is Isabelle.

"I can't say much about the film, but it's basically About A Boy named Hugo Cabret (Asa Butterfield), who's a street urchin, and it's our meeting each other and going on this crazy adventure through a Parisian train station in the 1930s."
