ITV are ''thrilled'' to have Cheryl Cole return to the 'X Factor' judging panel.
The 'Call my Name' hitmaker will reunite with Simon Cowell when they return as judges on the talent show's eleventh series this year, and ITV are delighted to have her on board since she was extremely popular when she first appeared on the show in 2008.
Elaine Bedell, Director of Comedy and Entertainment, said: ''We're thrilled to be announcing Cheryl's return to 'The X Factor' panel.
''She was an extremely popular judge who struck a real chord with our viewers, and we're looking forward to welcoming her back on screen this autumn.''
Cheryl - who led Alexandra Burke and Joe McElderry to victory in 2008 and 2009 respectively - left the show to join Simon on the US version of 'X Factor' but was sacked from the show after filming just one episode.
Cheryl famously feuded with Simon following her axing but they have repaired their relationship and she is now excited at the prospect of returning and finding new talent.
She said: ''I'm very happy and excited to be returning to 'The X Factor'. I'm inspired and ready to find new talent and potential pop stars. It's going to be a fun series.''
The brunette beauty has reportedly been offered a £1.5 million contract, making her the highest paid judge ever on the show irrespective of her boss, Simon, who earns £8 million a year.
