Cheryl Cole launched her second line of shoes for StylistPick.com this week and despite starring in some sizzling promotional shots, the release was overshadowed by her bitter feud with former manager Louis Walsh. The pair sat on the X Factor judges' desk together, though their friendship has all but broken down.
Walsh managed Cheryl's group Girls Aloud after they won the Itv1 show Popstars: The Rivals, though the singer told Marie Claire magazine that he had zero involvement with the band, saying, "We didn't talk to him or anything like that. He just took a cheque. Literally, we didn't have management". She also claimed, "Louis Walsh had come out publicly and said, 'They're all fat. They all need to lose weight'. And the record label sent us all to have training... but we were just thinking they were doing us a favour at the time. We were so deluded". Walsh publically backed Cole when she was acrimoniously axed from Simon Cowell's X Factor Usa show, though he has already hit back at her recent comments, telling the UK's Daily Mirror, "Our friendship is over. I've no idea why she made these comments but it says a lot about her..I was always the first to defend her on the X Factor, and always watched her back.I thought we were friends. If I was in London right now I'd give her a piece of my mind".
