The Believe icon announced she had been in talks with Broadway producers back in 2012, when she revealed she would be assisting writers to adapt her rise to stardom for the stage.

"Prods (producers) r (sic) writing mucial (musical) now about my life with my music," she tweeted at the time. "There r 3 Chers! I'm help (helping) 2 (sic) write cause i was there & know stories that no1 (no one) knows but me! I hope it happens!"

She also admitted she would consider tackling a role in the stage spectacular, adding: "I could b (sic) old Cher! She's wise n (and) tells 2 young 1's not 2 fear future (sic)."

On Sunday (25Oct15), Cher offered fans an update on the stage show, revealing she spent the weekend (23-25Oct15) working with Jersey Boys playwright Rick Elice.

"Spent last 3 Days with Rick…He is Writer of Cher Musical (sic). We had so much fun," she wrote on Twitter.com.

Cher, 69, did not share any other details about the production or reveal when fans can expect the musical to debut.
