Welsh singer Charlotte Church sympathises with Britain's monarch Queen Elizabeth II, because she's an "old woman" who has "no idea what's going on" around her.
The former classical singer has met the U.K. ruler on several official occasions, but was left downhearted after every introduction - revealing the royal never remembered her.
And Church insists she "feels really sorry" for the 84-year-old monarch because she'd hate to have to watch Britain's annual Royal Variety Performance as part of her official duties.
She tells Britain's Esquire magazine, "I've met her about seven times and she never remembers me. When you get close to her you realise she's an old woman and has no idea what's going on.
"I feel really sorry for her. She probably doesn't want to be wheeled out at every Royal Variety Performance to watch scantily-clad dancers and sh***y comedians."
And Church also took aim at former British prime minister Tony Blair, recalling a time she tackled the one-time leader over her massive tax bill.
She adds, "I said to him, 'I've been paying 40 per cent tax since I was 12 and yet I can't vote. Explain that.' He couldn't and just changed the subject."
