Welsh singer Charlotte Church has confirmed she and fiance Gavin Henson have split - but insists there is no "third party" involved.
The Crazy Chick hitmaker and the rugby player, who became engaged in February (10) after five years of dating, were rumoured to have gone their separate ways last month (May10).
A string of British tabloid reports subsequently linked Henson to British actress Susie Amy - but the former couple is keen to clear up the rumours.
A joint statement from the pair reads, "Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson have confirmed reports of their separation and would like to stress that no third party was involved.
"They are trying their hardest to deal with this difficult time for both of them in a way which will minimise the impact on their two young children. They fully intend to work together and cooperate in ensuring there is as little disruption as possible to the children's lives."
The stars share two young children, two-year-old Ruby and Dexter, 16 months.
