Oscar winner Charlize Theron will campaign for women's rights in the Middle East in her new movie FLORENCE OF ARABIA.
The actress has purchased the film rights to author Christopher Buckley's literary satire of the same name, about a government employee who fights for equal rights after her friend is executed soon after marrying an Arabian prince.
Theron will develop the picture via her production company Denver and Delilah Films and take on the lead role, reports Daily Variety.
