Mueller, the mother of Sheen's six-year-old twin boys Max and Bob, has checked into the place voluntarily, but a reason for her stay has not been released.

"(She) is in treatment on her own accord," a source tells "She needed to leave Los Angeles for a while... to get some peace and quiet."

The 38-year-old has been in and out of rehab in recent years, checking in to another facility in 2011 following an arrest for alleged cocaine possession and assault.

The news comes two months after Sheen revealed he is HIV positive in November (15). Following his revelation, Mueller assured friends and family neither she nor her boys had contracted the disease.

"Brooke has been inundated with calls from friends and family," Mueller's representative, Steve Honig, said in a statement at the time of Sheen's announcement. "To put their minds at ease, Brooke can confirm that she and the boys are not HIV-positive."

Asked for a comment on Brooke's latest rehab stint, Honig told WENN, "We’re not making any comments to anyone on this."

Sheen and his wife divorced in 2011.
