Despite recent internet rumours, Charlie Sheen is not dead - but his former character on 'Two and a Half Men' may well be. According to, Sheen's 'Charlie Harper' creation is set to be killed off when the new series starring Ashton Kutcher premieres this fall.
The story has prompted fans of the troubled actor to speculate on his demise, and a British bookmaker is also getting in on the act. Irish bookies Paddy Power are offering a series of 'Charlie Sheen' specials regarding how the character will be killed. 'Driving his car off a cliff' has been installed as the favourite at 11/10, possibly because Sheen has allegedly driven two vehicles off the Mulholland Drive cliffside himself. 'Gets shot in a crime of passion' is another possibility at 3/1, while 'Accidental poisoning' is being offered at 6/1. Fans who want to back an 'underdog death' could plump for 'Surfing accident' at 20/1, or 'Gets lost at sea' at 66/1. The big outsider remains Charlie Harper being squashed by a piano, available at 200/1.
Sheen's replacement, Ashton Kutcher, recently began shooting scenes for series nine of the show. He will reportedly be introduced after buying the Malibu beach house previously owned by Sheen's character.
