Former Charlie's Angels actress Tara Tyson is at the centre of a legal battle after allegedly refusing to vacate her late husband's lavish New York mansion so estate executors can sell off the $25 million (£15.63 million) property to settle his debts.

The 1970s Tv star, who also appeared in Starsky & Hutch, lost her Greek shipping magnate husband Manuel Kulukundis in 2010. She and their four children received shares in a trust worth $50 million (£31.25 million) in assets, and she was provided with an apartment at the Pierre Hotel in Manhattan to call home, but it appears the actress is not ready to let go of their luxury five-bedroom, five bathroom estate in the Hamptons.

Executors Albert Sigal and Barbara De Mare have been gradually selling off Kulukundis' multiple properties to repay debts and they had almost secured a buyer for the Hamptons home - but Tyson reportedly changed the locks to the pad in October (12) and has banned movers from entering the place to remove her belongings ever since.

Sigal and De Mare are now asking a Manhattan Surrogate's Court judge to grant their request for a court order to force Tyson out so they can complete the sale of the property.
