The new Charlie's Angels film is set to earn Drew Barrymore $40 million (GBP25 million) - because the shrewd beauty bought the rights to the '80s TV series before the first film was made.

Drew, 28, who also stars in the movie versions alongside gorgeous CAMERON DIAZ and luscious Lucy Liu, bought the screen rights through her production company FLOWER FILMS.

She has already netted $40 million (GBP25 million) from the first film, which made $400 million (GBP250 million).

If CHARLIE'S ANGELS: FULL THROTTLE makes the same amount of money, Drew will earn a further $40 million (GBP25 million) - increasing her take to $80 million (GBP50 million).

The blockbuster sequel hits cinemas this July (03).
