Charli XCX buys her clothes from ''stripper stores''.
The 'After The Afterparty' hitmaker says there are ''some really amazing tailors'' at these clothes shops and loves how her stylist uses clothes from a shop in Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles to make her look like a ''true stripper''.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz at the NME Awards, she said: ''I'm literally just wearing what I had in my suitcase as I just came up back from America so I'm just wearing a load of different stuff. I got this from a stripper store it says 'Sex Symbol', it is one in LA from Hollywood Boulevard.
''I get a lot of clothes from stripper stores - there's some really amazing tailors in there and they make some incredible stuff. I haven't been into any stripper stores in England, but if anyone knows of any I'll be sure to check them out. I have a stylist who is really good friends with one of the main people who runs the stripper store in LA and she makes me look like a true stripper, it's wonderful.
And with the 24-year-old singer jetting forward and back from the United States to the UK, she has been suffering from ''really bad'' jet lag.
She added: ''I've been getting really bad jet lag, I cried today, but now I'm ready and I'm back.''
Meanwhile, the 'Break The Rules' hitmaker previously insisted she doesn't care what people think of her.
She said: ''Robyn once told me to always be me, not worry about what other people think, and f**k everyone if they don't like it.
''To hear that from someone who I admired was so cool and comforting. Just do what makes you feel good and hang out with people you love and feel happy with ... I feel that equals good life vibes.''
