Chantelle Houghton had to go to hospital on her first Mother's Day on Sunday (10.03.13) after being taken ill.
Chantelle Houghton spent her first Mother's Day in hospital.
The TV star was taken to Broomfield Hospital in Essex, South East England, on Sunday (10.03.13) after being taken ill on the special occasion, which meant she couldn't spend the day with her eight-month-old daughter Dolly.
Chantelle - who is separated from her baby's father Alex Reid - was eventually diagnosed with a nasty bout of flu and sent home.
Writing on her Twitter account, she revealed: ''Thank you to Broomfield hospital Chelmsford for looking after me yesterday docs thought I'd had a stroke but thankfully just flu. Gutted I spent my first mothers day in a&e but going to have mine when I'm better! X (sic)''
The 29-year-old blonde has been raising Dolly as a single parent since splitting acrimoniously from cage fighter Alex - whose ex-wife is Katie Price - last August.
Alex, 37, has recently been complaining that he doesn't even know where his daughter now lives and has accused former 'Celebrity Big Brother' winner Chantelle of making it very difficult for him and his parents to see Dolly.
He said: ''I have asked on numerous occasions if my parents can come with me to see Dolly. The last time I asked was a few weeks ago. I was told that I would have to ask Chantelle's mother, Vivienne, as I only visit Dolly at Vivienne's house - I do not even know where my daughter lives ... I feel like I am intruding by visiting twice a week on my own to see my beautiful little girl.''
