The Magic Mike star's wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum overcame the problem of what to get the man who has everything by adding a rescue horse to their menagerie.

Channing posted footage of himself riding his new steed on his Instagram page in a sweet video clip in which his face was painted blue and green by the couple's two-year-old daughter Everly.

"Braveheart paint by Evie, new rescue horse named Cajun on a sunset ride," he captioned the video. "Thanks for all the birthday wishes."

And it seems Jenna's intention to surprise her beau with the gift paid off, as Channing later shared another snap of Cajun on Instagram, with the caption: "Best birthday gift ever from my wifey."

Jenna and Channing have certainly set relationship goals for couples all over the world with their gushing tributes to each other on social media over the past few years.

Save the Last Dance beauty Jenna posted another emotional tribute to her spouse as he celebrated his birthday on Tuesday (26Apr16) with a quote from a Chinese philosopher.

"'To love someone deeply gives you strength. Being loved by someone deeply gives you courage.' - Lao Tzu. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY LIFER,"Jenna wrote. "My country boy."

Channing's professional life is as successful as his personal, with his slate looking incredibly full for the foreseeable future. He recently confirmed he will be joining the cast of Kingsman: The Golden Circle - the sequel to Matthew Vaughn's hit action-comedy Kingsman: The Secret Service.

The original movie, which starred Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson, and Taron Egerton, earned more than $35 million (£24 million) when it opened last February (15) against competition from Fifty Shades of Grey. It went on to make almost $415 million (£293 million) worldwide. With a script penned by British-born Matthew and Jane Goldman, the sequel will further chronicle the exploits of Taron's character Gary 'Eggsy' Unwin, an erstwhile London hooligan who has been trained in the art of heroics by a secret spy organisation.
