Celine Dion was forced to halt her Los Angeles concert at the Staples Center for 30 minutes on Tuesday night (02Dec08) due to a technical glitch.
The apologetic singer told the sold out audience she needed to let technicians attend to some issues 45 minutes into her show, before dashing off the stage.
Crew members then appeared with ladders and equipment and attempted to fix part of the stage, which was being used for screening video images.
The concert was Dion's second show back after she was forced to postpone a string of concerts in November (08) because of illness.
Dion re-appeared after the technical break in the show and thanked fans for staying.
One audience member says, "She was the ultimate professional, although I don't think anyone noticed there was a problem in the first place. She put on a great show and she seemed to be fit and well."
Joining fans at the Staples Center for the show were Dion's mother and son Rene Charles Angelil.
