Singer Celine Dion is set to throw a party for the Spice Girls when the band visit her native Canada at the weekend (1-2Dec07). The My Heart Will Go On star is hoping to host a celebration in Vancouver to support the band's reunion tour which kicks off in the city on Sunday (2Dec07). Dion, 39, reportedly wants to include traditional Canadian elements in the bash which will be held for the girls as well as their friends and family. A source tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "Celine is so thrilled the Spice Girls have chosen her home country to kick off their tour that's she's organising some plush hospitality to welcome them to Vancouver. "Backstage at The General Motors Place - the stadium where the concert will take place - Celine is arranging a huge soiree. There will be Canadian flags and red and white bunting."
