Producers of British reality Tv show Celebrity Big Brother have cancelled a planned eviction on Tuesday (13Jan15) after a second housemate was kicked out for unacceptable behaviour.
The show became mired in controversy over the weekend (10-11Jan15) when former Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson was booted off after allegedly upsetting glamour model Chloe Goodman by pulling open her robe and exposing her breast.
Now bosses have cancelled a planned eviction of a contestant on Tuesday night after former Coronation Street actor Ken Morley was removed from the house on Monday (12Jan15) for using inappropriate language.
British Tv watchdogs at Ofcom have launched a probe after receiving almost 250 complaints about Saturday's (10Jan15) show in which Morley made suggestive remarks towards female housemates and used the work "negro".
In a statement, programme bosses said, "Ken Morley has been removed from the Celebrity Big Brother house for using unacceptable and offensive language following his formal warning. Tuesday's eviction is now cancelled and (phone) lines are now closed. Anyone who has already voted will be able to apply for a full refund and details will be available on the Big Brother website within 24 hours."
In further developments on Monday, it emerged police are investigating after Jackson was kicked off the show for alleged inappropriate behaviour.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police tells the Bbc, "We are currently working with the programme's producers as part of our inquiries. It would be inappropriate to comment any further at this time."
Before leaving the Big Brother House, Jackson blamed the incident on the "alcoholic beverages" he had consumed and called it "not acceptable".
