Cat Deeley isn't very good at ''being a girl''.
The TV personality, who dazzled in a scarlet dress at the Emmys last weekend, says although she enjoys her fame she still hasn't succumbed to the celebrity lifestyle.
She revealed: ''I've come to the conclusion that I'm not very good at being a girl. I love fashion, don't get me wrong, but I'm so clumsy.
''I can't be bothered getting manicures and pedicures as I would rather be out doing something else. I've created a regime so that if I do out without make-up on, children won't run away from me scared.
''So I get my hair and eyebrows down, eyelashes tinted and nails buffed because I can't keep polish on.''
Cat, 35, also owned up to being a self-confessed geek, calling herself a ''square''.
She added: ''I love a spreadsheet and I prepare everything. If I'm doing an interview with someone, I read everything I possibly can about them.
''Then I like to amalgamate all my questions together with the producer's questions, and draw a spider diagram.''
