Songwriter Carole Bayer Sager is releasing a memoir later this year (16).
The Nobody Does It Better hitmaker's They're Playing Our Song will hit stores on 18 October (16) and will detail "a surprisingly frank and darkly humorous story of a woman whose sometimes crippling fears and devastating relationships inspired many of the songs she would ultimately write," according to bosses at publisher Simon & Schuster.
The 69-year-old took inspiration from composer Marvin Hamlisch's long-running musical when naming her book. The stage show was based on the pair's relationship.
Carole was also married to songwriter Burt Bacharach, who released his own memoir, Anyone Who Had a Heart, in 2012.
