Two Canadian radio journalists have reportedly been barred from the upcoming Cannes Film Festival in France - because stars there are scared of the SARS virus.

Twenty-three people have fallen victim to the potentially fatal Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome in Canada, and some of Tinseltown's most influential figures are still concerned about coming into contact with Canadians.

According to the EDMONTON JOURNAL, JEANNE BEKER, host of Canada's Fashion Television, and Carla Collins of Toronto's MIX 99.9 radio station, had their invitations to the 14-25 May (03) bash revoked at the request of worried celebrities.
