Hip-hop star 50 Cent is convinced his upcoming video game will enjoy the same level of success as his chart-topping music.
The Candy Shop rapper, real name CURTIS JACKSON, is delighted by reports Eminem and Dr Dre will contribute tracks to 50 CENT: Bulletproof's soundtrack - and he's surprised the project has made him as excited as he is recording new songs in the studio.
He says, "I'm as excited about 50 Cent: Bulletproof as I am about the success of my album, THE MASSACRE, and that means a lot since music has always been my life.
"The new freestyles and the addition of Eminem and Dre show that this game is on the right course to follow in the successful footsteps of my music."
The game, which will hit stores later this year (05), will feature the likeness and voice of Jackson as he gets caught in a web of corruption and shady deals that lead him on a bloody path through New York's drug underworld.
Gamers will also be able to re-mix 50 Cent: Bulletproof's soundtrack, which features exclusive songs, beats and freestyle raps.20/05/2005 09:10
