50 CENT is breaking records at the top of the singles charts in America after claiming four tracks in this week's (beg21MAR05) BILLBOARD Hot 100 top 10.

It's the first time any act has landed such a feat since THE Beatles notched up five hits in one week's top 10 way back in 1964.

The rapper has the number one spot for a fifth week with saucy anthem Candy Shop, while his duets with The Game on HATE IT OR LOVE IT and HOW WE DO are at numbers six and eight on the new chart. Another track, Disco Inferno, falls two spots to number five.

50's Candy Shop also tops this week's (beg21MAR05) Hot Digital Songs, Hot R+B/Hip-Hop Singles + Tracks, Hot R+B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Hot 100 Airplay charts, while his new CD THE MASSACRE notched up a third week on top of the album charts yesterday (23MAR05).

Further down the Hot 100, Melissa Etheridge and Joss Stone's cover of Janis Joplin's PIECE OF MY HEART - which they performed at the recent Grammy AWARDS - is the highest new entry on the singles chart at number 32.

Meanwhile, Beck is back at the top of Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks list, where he ends Green Day's run at number one with BOULEVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS. Beck's new tune E-PRO is his first number one on that chart for over a decade.
